Welcome Back, Bologna Families!
We hope you had a wonderful fall break filled with rest, fun, and family time! It’s great to see your Scorpions back on campus, and we hope their first week back was a smooth and successful one.
October is shaping up to be an exciting month with lots of great events:
- Trunk-or-Treat: Don’t miss this fun-filled night for our students and families! We can’t wait to see everyone in costume and enjoying the festivities.
- PTO Fundraiser at Water and Ice: Join us this week for a cool treat while supporting our school! A portion of the proceeds will go directly to benefit our students and programs.
- Media and Computer Lab Renovation: Big things are coming! We need volunteers to help organize and move books from shelves. If you're available from 8:00-10:00 AM Tuesday through Friday, we'd love to have your help.
- Leer es Poder Week: A celebration of reading is just around the corner!
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in making Bologna Elementary such a special place! We’re excited for all that’s ahead this month and grateful to have you with us every step of the way.
With gratitude,
Patty Chinchilla

Volunteers Needed: Media and Computer Lab Renovation
Dear Bologna Community,
We’re excited to announce that we are beginning to prepare for our major reimagination of our Media and Computer Lab! This renovation will create an amazing space for our students to explore, create, and learn. But we need your help to make it happen!
We are looking for volunteers Tuesday through Friday from 8:00-10:00 AM beginning this Wednesday, 10/16, to assist with an important first step: removing books from shelves and loading them onto carts.
Volunteers are asked to arrive promptly at 8:00 AM for instructions, as our team will need to leave for duty by 8:15. We are opening three volunteer slots each day to ensure smooth progress.
If you’re available, even for one day, your time and effort will make a huge difference in this exciting project! A ParentSquare message will go out with a link to sign up.
Thank you in advance for supporting our school and helping us bring this dream space to life!
