NHHS Weekly Update

Weekly Schedule

Students, we will operate on a Regular Schedule on Monday, Tuesday. Thursday, and Friday of this week. This Wednesday, December 4th, we will follow the Flex Schedule and report to 1st block.

ACT WorkKeys Exam

The ACT WorkKeys exam will be given Dec. 3rd and 4th of this week, and smaller testing groups will be testing at later dates throughout the month. A roster showing which students are testing with their specific test date and location has been posted outside of the Media Center. Students have received an email from Mr. Haas with information about the exam. Please have your student check their email and the posted roster. Students must report to testing with their charged laptops and laptop chargers. If a student has a CFCC class that will be impacted, they should contact Mr. Haas with their professor's name and email address so that they can be notified.

Lyceum Toy Drive

Santa Claus is comin to town. Santa Claus is comin to town. Santa Claus is comin to town for the families of Asheville! Lyceum will be collecting toys for Asheville families devastated by Hurricane Helene. Items will be collected until December 5th and then delivered to Eblen Charities. Follow this link to the Eblen Charities Saint Nicholas Project website to see the wish list of items from Walmart, Target, and Amazon. Items can be dropped off in 5th floor Lyceum until December 5th.

AIG Meetings Dec. 2-6

Student AIG meetings for all grade levels are happening this week (Dec. 2-6) in the library. Please check the AIG newsletter for specifics.

1. This Wednesday during FLEX there will be Men's Lacrosse interest meeting in the cafeteria.
2. Wednesday after school there will be a Women's Lacrosse interest meeting in the cafeteria.
3. Varsity Men’s Wrestling vs South Brunswick & Pender High School – Tri Meet at 5:00 – Weigh-Ins start at 4:00 (This wrestling event will be a “Black Out Event”) Please wear your BLACK and come out and support!!!
4. Varsity Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving @ UNCW at 7:00 – (Hoggard is the Host)
