The LHS Counseling Department will be hosting a FAFSA Night for parents & students on Monday, January 13th at 6:00 pm in Room B106.

2025-26 FAFSA Form Now Available! The U.S. Department of Education recently announced the 2025-26 FAFSA form is now available for students looking to secure financial aid in the 2025-26 Academic Year. The FAFSA form connects students to various forms of Federal and State financial aid programs. The FAFSA is required for most State of Michigan financial aid programs, including the Michigan Achievement Scholarship! Students can complete the FAFSA at StudentAid.gov. LHS Exam Recommendation:

Although not required, students who qualify for the final exam incentive are encouraged to take their exams. However, students are encouraged to discuss the benefits of taking final exams with their parents/guardians.

• Those who qualify for exam exemptions will not be penalized if the final exam grade would lower their semester grade.

If you are interested in tutoring for your student, LHS is offering free after school sessions in our media center. Students MUST sign up by clicking the link located in the top right corner of the Linden High School Webpage. (https://highschool.lindenschools.org/o/lhs) After school tutoring runs from 2:30-3:30 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Beginning with the start of the 2nd Semester on January 21, 2025 we will no longer be mailing student attendance letters home for students that accumulate 4, 7, or 10 absences in a class. The attendance letters will be sent electronically via email through our student information system (Synergy).
