WES Newsletter
Dear Wilson Elementary Community,
What an exciting and productive month October has been! From fall activities and classroom projects to spirited events like Trunk or Treat and the Halloween parade, it’s been wonderful to see our students learning, laughing, and growing together. Their enthusiasm, hard work, and curiosity have truly made this month special.
As we look ahead to November, we’re excited for the opportunities that lie ahead. This month brings new learning goals, continued progress, and meaningful moments to connect as a community. We also look forward to celebrating the season of gratitude and focusing on kindness and giving back. Thank you for your continued support and involvement—it makes all the difference. Together, let’s keep the momentum going as we move forward into the next chapter of our school year!
Yours in education,
Mr. Jason Wilkie

Conferences and Report Cards
I’d like to take a moment to explain how parent-teacher conferences will work this school year. Either parents or teachers may request a conference, and if both feel a meeting isn’t needed at this time, that’s perfectly fine. Please note that due to scheduling constraints, we can only offer one conference per child, not per guardian. This ensures we can provide all families with the opportunity to connect with teachers.
Additionally, I want to share an important change regarding report cards. 5th grade students will continue to receive quarterly report cards, but for UPK through 4th grade, we are shifting to a trimester schedule. This means their first report cards won’t be available until December. We believe this adjustment will allow for a more comprehensive view of student progress throughout the year.
Thank you for your partnership and understanding as we continue working together to support your child's growth. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
