The start of the school year can be a difficult time. Some of the difficulty has to do with the school. For example, making adjustments to the masterschedule to ensure efficient use of the facilities, filling the varies supervision assignments, or assigning people to support students success. Other difficulties may have to do with getting to know the needs of new students. They may be experiencing difficulty transitioning from summer routines to school routines. Some children may have unique behavior or academic needs that require time and experience to help figure out. Staff may have new materials to use and of course technololgy tools are evolving constantly.
Our staff do an excellent job with this work. It is truely a team approach to figure out what kids need to succeed. I am so appreciative of the professionals on our staff that make these numerous challenges something to "figure out" instead of something to "stress about."
