PTA News
- Please join us for Pastries with Parents. Students with last names that start with A-L can bring their parents and loved ones on Wednesday, May 7, from 7:30 - 8 a.m., and students with last names M-Z can come Thursday, May 8, from 7:30 - 8 a.m. We still need help passing out pastries both days! Parents can sign up here.
- Splash Bash is Thursday, May 15, during the day! We have a great day planned, but we need everyone's help! Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles can sign up to volunteer here. We'll send home a flyer with all the details this week.
- We'll have our last PTA meeting of the year followed by "Lilo & Stitch." Pack a picnic, bring a blanket or chair, and enjoy one last evening with the '24-'25 Keeley community. Fifth grade will sell concessions.
Class List Process at Keeley
We are in the process of creating class lists for the upcoming school year! With nearly 600 students at Keeley Elementary, it’s important to note that not all students can be placed in the same class or with a specific requested teacher.
However, if your family has had a positive experience with a previous teacher for a sibling, or if your child has specific needs that would benefit from a certain teaching style or classroom environment, we welcome that insight on qualities in a teacher that you are looking for. Our class placement teams will consider this information along with several key factors we have to use when creating class lists including balanced classrooms by gender, academic levels, special programs, behavioral and social needs.
If you would like to share any input for us to consider, please complete the Class Placement Input Form by May 2, 2025.
If you are not planning on returning to Keeley next year, please let your child's teacher know AND if you are moving out of district, please make sure that you have completed the withdrawl online process.
Thank you for partnering with us to help your child have a successful school year! 💙

Parent Lunch Reminders
1. Sign-Ups: If you’re signed up for lunch but can no longer make it, please either remove your name from the sign-up list or contact the office so we can adjust it for you. Additionally, if you’ve reserved spots on both Wednesday and Friday, please choose one day to attend and remove the other from the list, or let the office know so we can take care of it. This helps us manage schedules more efficiently and gives families a fair opportunity to enjoy lunch with their child. We added Wednesdays to give more families the opportunities to attend. Thank you for your cooperation.
2. Food & Seating: For the safety of all students, parents may only bring food for their own child, and other students are not able to join you and your child. We appreciate your understanding in helping us follow this policy.
