Last Day of School
The last day of school at Nature Hill is June 7, 2024.
- Students will be released at 11:55. No lunch will be served, but buses will run their scheduled routes. (Just at an earlier time.)
- Parents attending the promotion ceremony can leave after the event with their new OHS Freshman and any younger siblings. Please check out in the school office before leaving with younger students.
- Report Cards will post to Family Access accounts by noon.
8th Grade Promotion Ceremony
Friends and family are invited to Nature Hill to celebrate the accomplishments of 8th grade students. Doors will open at approximately 9:45. Seating will be limited. This event will be livestreamed. Here is the link to view. https://livestream.com/accounts/6178651/events/3765030 If you have a younger NHI sibling that you would like to attend, please call the office and we will help make those arrangements. You are free to leave with all of your students directly following the ceremony. A small reception of cake and beverages will follow.
Students must be at school at 7:30am in order to participate in the promotion ceremony. This is to ensure they are present for the rehearsal.
Parking will be tight. You are welcome to park on the front field opposite the church, which is on the right side of the main entrance. However, please do not park on the median in front of the school, the playground or in the bus lane.

Lost and Found
Items in Nature Hill's Lost and Found will be donated after the last day of school. Please remind your student to come to the cafeteria and take a look through the jackets, hoodies and other items left behind.
New Process for Entering School Building
We’re taking some additional steps to ensure the security of our front entrance during the school day. Now, when you approach our front entrance, you will be asked to ring a doorbell button located on the far right of our outside front doors. Please provide your name and reason for visiting our school. School personnel will then confirm and unlock the outside doors. You will need to press another doorbell in our vestibule to gain access to our main office. We appreciate your patience with this added layer of security and support in keeping our school safe.
Save Time on Back-To-School Shopping
Nature Hill is once again partnering with EduKit - a one-stop option for purchasing all of your student's school supplies. EduKit has taken NHI's school supply lists and built "Kits" that you can order delivered right to your home. How easy is that!
This year's kits will be delivered to your home by August 22. Click the link below for ordering information. Orders must be placed by June 27, 2024.
NHI Attendance
To report an absence or to arrange same day pick up for an appointment:
- Call 262-569-4942.
- Use the online absence request system in family access. Click the "Absence Request" link on the upper right hand side of the attendance tab.
- Send an email to: NHIAttendance@oasd.org
Do not call the main office number with attendance information. The attendance line is monitored continuously and is set up specifically to receive attendance calls.

PBIS at Nature Hill
"Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based, tiered framework for supporting students’ behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health. When implemented with fidelity, PBIS improves social emotional competence, academic success, and school climate. It also improves teacher health and wellbeing. It is a way to create positive, predictable, equitable and safe learning environments where everyone thrives."

Student Concern Form
The Student Concern Form is here for students dealing with issues with friends, social-emotional issues, peer conflict, social media issues, etc.
This form is screened by our administrative team and then passed on to the appropriate staff member. We respond through email or by calling students down within 24 hours of receiving the form. The form is also linked on teachers' Canvas homepages.
Parent Request to Move or Refund Credit Balances
- All credit balances can be moved over to a family's food service account, this is our preferred use of credit balances but we understand sometimes this just doesn't make the most sense.
- Credit balances on student fee accounts will only be refunded if over $15.00 and all other fees are paid in full. If your family food service account is in a negative balance, funds will be moved to cover this overage prior to any refunds.
- Credit balances can be moved to sibling accounts to pay outstanding fees.
- Credit balances cannot be moved to pay for webstore items.
- Refunds will be processed within 1-2 weeks of submission
