MHS Christmas Lunch

We look forward to hosting you for a Christmas Lunch in the HS Cafeteria. Reminder that tickets must be pre-paid by Dec. 6th. See the front office (Elina Rosales) for more details.

Mock STAAR Testing 12.9 - 12.12

Students in grades 6th - 11th grade will be completing mock STAAR tests Monday through Thursday of next week. The building will operate as though it were an actual STAAR test, so it will be closed to visitors on these days. If you student needs a lunch that day, please send it with them in the morning or before 8:30 a.m. Please assist us in making sure your child is rested and prepared to do their best.

Apex Champions: Central States’ Elite

The Central Apex Showdown is heating up!

Roman Garcia, D'Marcus Garcia, and Jesse Scott just had an impressive win yesterday in the Apex showdown for E-Sports. After the stunning victory in Round Two of the Playoffs, the Top 8 elite teams from the Central States are gearing up for their next big challenge. Tomorrow at 5:00 p.m., they’ll face off in an intense battle for a coveted spot in the Top 4. They are seeded to play the number 1 team in the Central Division. With their eyes on the prize, these skilled Apex Legends players are ready to prove their dominance.

JH One Act Play Winning Tarleton Performance

We are so proud of our One Act Play winning cast and their amazing director, Ms. Dunn. The students have worked many long hours to pull off a great performance of The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, placing first against 3 and 4A schools!

Every student in the Cast & Crew came through and did a great job at the UIL One Act Play Festival at Tarleton University. And it paid off because they WON! It was exciting to see our Yellow Jackets deliver a wonderful performance against much bigger schools and walk away with top honors. Congratulations to Ms. Dunn on another amazing year as our JH One Act Play Director!

EKG Rescheduled

The EKG screener that was being offered on December 4th has been moved to February 10th. We are sorry about the inconvenience, but hope this will now serve more students, as there is still time to register. Registration forms are available in the office.
