A Message From Our Social Worker
Hello Tiger Paw Families,
BEING KIND AND SHOWING EMPATHY are the themes for our social emotional learning classroom readings and small groups for the month of February. We will be learning how we can show kindness and empathy to others. Some examples of kindness are being supportive, friendly, polite, sharing and apologizing. Being empathic can be a hard concept for our younger students to learn, but what a powerful attribute to have!
“Empathy is the most important attribute we can possess. Empathy is the ability to understand how a person feels and why they feel that way.” Funkatron.com
