Dear Valley Creek Parents/Guardians,

As we wrap up another week at Valley Creek, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community. Your partnership plays a vital role in creating a nurturing and positive environment for our students.

This week, I witnessed some wonderful moments: students collaborating in classrooms, helping each other learn, and sharing smiles during recess. It’s a joy to see their growth, and I know that your encouragement at home is a big part of that.

Thank you for your commitment to your children’s education and for being active participants in our school events. Our New AP, Mrs. Cruz will officially begin her time with us net week. Thank you for welcoming her with opened arms. She is so excited to join the team 😊

Don’t forget NO SCHOOL 11/4 with Parent/Teacher conferences on 11/5.

Valley Creek is excited to welcome Mrs. Ashley Cruz as the new Assistant Principal!

Thank you for your compliance and understanding as we follow these district security protocols:

• A valid state or government issued photo ID must be presented each time you visit, volunteer, or pick up a student.
• Please be prepared to present your physical ID upon arrival.
• We are not be able to accept photos of ID's on phones.
• We will not be able to admit anyone to volunteer, visit, or pick up a student that does not present their physical ID.

• A background check is required each school year for people wanting to volunteer in McKinney ISD.
• This includes making copies, PTA events, lunch duty coverage, classroom parties, field trips, and other volunteering that takes place inside and outside our building.
• We encourage all parents and guardians to complete your volunteer application as soon as possible to avoid any delay in the processing.
• Anyone that has not completed a volunteer application and had it approved will not be able to volunteer in any capacity inside or outside of our building.
