Our 2nd and 3rd grade students will be continuing their IREAD testing next week. Morning tutoring will be cancelled for NEXT WEEK. Parents, please make sure your child gets some great sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and come ready to show what they know on the IREAD.

LC is designating a week to bring us together to show the strength and potential of our nation's public schools. You are invited to participate in SPIRIT WEEK to celebrate Lake Central Schools!

We are excited to share the new updates at Bibich Elementary!! Stop in on Saturday, March 15 from 1pm - 3pm to take a look. Please enter at Door B and head to the cafeteria. The 4th Grade Choir will be performing at 2pm.

Kindergarten Enrollment for 2025-2026 school year was last month. If you have an incoming Kindergartener and missed enrollment, please go online to lcsc.us and fill out the enrollment documents as soon as possible.

PARENTS: Mark your calendars for an Informational/Hands-On Meeting for Incoming Kindergarteners on Thursday, May 8 at 6:00pm in the auditorium at Lake Central High School. Parents ONLY please!!

Our next Early Release day is Tuesday, March 11. Our school day is over at 12:10pm. There will be NO PM Early Childhood on this day.

Lake Central School Corporation will permit access to the Field House for walking on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7pm - 9pm NOW through March 19, 2025. There will be no walking during ANY other school holiday. Visitors should park in the front of the school near the pool and enter through Door C. Walkers will be asked to sign an injury waiver upon entering for the first time.
