Spring into the Pool this Season

Schedule Changes & Closures

Drop-In Schedules will be adjusted due to Class Swims the following weeks:

  • March 10th - 14th - Alamo 4th & 5th Grade Swim Unit


The Aquatic Center will be closed:

  • Monday March 31st through Sunday April 6th for pool draining/cleaning
  • Monday May 26th for Memorial Day

Swim Clinic Spring 2025

OAC is excited to offer a Spring Swim Clinic to keep our competitive swimmers in the pool, and give others the chance to work closely with an experienced coach to refine strokes & skills. This Clinic is OPEN to ALL area swimmers, but class sizes will be limited to ensure proper attention can be given to each participant.

Times:

  • Middle School Aged: 3:15-4:15pm
  • Elementary Aged: 4:15-5:15pm

Dates & Cost:

Middle School

  • March 17, 19, 24, 26 ($40)
  • April 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30 ($60)
  • May 5, 7, 12, 14, 19 ($50)
    • Price: for all 3 months $125

Elementary (no clinic 4/21, 4/30, 5/12)

  • March 17, 19, 24, 26 ($40)
  • April 14, 16, 23, 28 ($40)
  • May 5, 7, 14, 19 ($40)
    • Price: for all 3 months $100

Clinic Schedule

  • March: Week 1-Freestyle, Week 2-Backstroke
  • April: Week 1-review free/back, Week 2-Breaststroke, Week 3-Butterfly
  • May: Week 1-flipturns, Week 2-dives/starts, May 19th-review/final clinic date


This is NOT group lessons. Swimmers must be able to complete 25 yards with endurance to participate in this clinic.

Dive Clinic

Dates: Thursdays: March 20th, 27th, April 17th, 24th, May 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd


Times:

  • Middle School Aged & Up: 3-4:30pm
  • Elementary Aged: 4:30-6pm


Cost: $96 per athlete


No Lessons: April 3 (cleaning), April 10 (spring break)


For divers of all experience levels, must be able to pass a swim test (swim 25 yards with endurance) to participate. Please reach out to Maggie @ mdarnell@otsegops.org with questions.

This season we will have Group Lessons on TUESDAYS. We will offer 2 class times: 5-5:30pm & 5:45-6:15pm. Due to spring sports, we have limited instructor availability - we will have max enrollment of 16 in each class. We will focus on Beginner Level 1, Advanced Level 1 & Level 2. Level 3 & Up should consider our Swim Clinic to improve swim skills and endurance.


Spring Session 1: April 15, 22, 29, May 6

Group 1: 5-5:30pm

Group 2: 5:45-6:15pm


Spring Session 2: May 13, 20, 27, June 3

Group 1: 5-5:30pm

Group 2: 5:45-6:15pm


Summer Group Lessons will return later in June to a 3 to 4 lesson per week format.

Private Lessons are for children 1 year and up, who would benefit from a 1:1 instruction. Our experienced swim instructors will work closely with families to meet goals, work on swim and safety skills, and gain comfort and confidence in the water.


During the School Year - Private Lessons will be

Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday between 9am-11am (availability Tues & Wed)

Saturday mornings between 8:30am-12:30pm (waitlist)

Rentals @ OAC

We have dates available in APRIL & MAY this SPRING for your party!

  • 2 hours in the pool & community room (1-3pm or 4-6pm)
  • tables, chairs, & various kitchen supplies
  • 30 minutes before & 30 minutes after to set-up/clean-up
  • 2 lifeguards (additional guards needed if over 60 swimmers)
  • all pool toys/noodles/basketball hoops/balls/lifejackets
  • feel free to give the staff your music requests!
  • Cost: $190
