Reflection
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parent/Guardians,
As I try to write this newsletter, I cannot get out of my head the beautiful children’s faces from Robb Elementary School. Another tragedy in our country where innocent children and adults are killed once again – robbed of their lives. Let us keep the families and the school community in our prayers. Additionally, pray for lawmakers to make the right decisions about how people can easily obtain such weapons, weapons not needed in our communities.
Grade 8
Today, our 8th graders return from their Washington D.C. study trip where they met other 8th graders from 4 other schools from Alaska, Montana, and New Mexico. It was a wonderful experience for them in making new friendships. I was very impressed with how our students presented themselves in their study groups and were eager to learn more about democracy. Thanks to Mr. Ceja for organizing the trip and to Miss Cadelago for assisting on the trip and to the parents who chaperoned during the week.
It is not long before we finish with the school year and the students will be on summer break. Next week, we will be celebrating the graduation of our 8th graders beginning with a Student Farewell Mass on Tuesday at 8am in the Church. Wednesday evening will be the graduation dinner and awards ceremony. Finally, the Graduation Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 6pm along with the awarding of the diplomas. I wish to thank all involved with the graduation preparation for this year.
Memorial Day
On Memorial Day, our Nation pauses to remember those who have served and made great sacrifices for all. We also remember their families and all veterans who have served America. Because of their efforts, we live freely and securely in the knowledge that our unique way of life is protected by those who are willing to give everything for the liberties and blessings of America.
It is also during such moments of reflection that we can pay a most lasting tribute to those who have given their service.
Window Replacement
As mentioned in previous newsletters, the window replacement project will start on June 13th and it will be a busy time around the school with scaffolding on Miller Ave. The project will be completed by mid-August.

You may pay the cafeteria balance through your existing PayPal account or as a guest using your credit or debit card. You may also add credit to your child/children's cafeteria account. If you wish, you may still make cash or check payments to the school office.
Please note, for the families that have a credit card on file I will no longer be charging your credit card for lunch payments. You are responsible for paying and adding credit to your cafeteria account.
