EHT PRESCHOOL
Week of January 12, 2025
ADMINISTRATOR
Dear Preschool Families,
We had a wonderful week of learning here at our preschool! Our classes continued to explore the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., reflecting on how we can honor his vision of equality, kindness, and service to others. The students have been engaged in thoughtful conversations and activities that help them understand the importance of his contributions to our world.
In addition, our classrooms have begun exciting new units of study. Students are diving into different topics based on their interests, such as light, clothing, buildings, and pets. It’s been so fun to watch their curiosity grow as they investigate and learn more about these fascinating subjects. Each classroom is filled with hands-on experiences, creative projects, and opportunities for exploration.
Thank you for your continued support and for fostering such a strong partnership with us. We look forward to another week of discovery and growth!

In observance of this holiday, there will be no school on Monday, January 20th. We will be excited to welcome our students back to school on Tuesday, January 21st.

We are gearing up for our biggest fundraiser of the year—Boosterthon! Early registration
will open on January 21, and your children will be bringing home information on how to register.
The Boosterthon event officially kicks off on February 5 with our first character lesson for the
students. We’re excited for the lessons, and know our students will love learning about
character-building through the Boosterthon program.
The fundraiser will culminate with a Dance-a-Thon on February 12, which will be held during the school day for students only. This event helps support student achievement, activities, and staff enrichment, and we are truly grateful for your support. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
In addition to Boosterthon, we’re also looking forward to our annual Pre-K Dance, which will be held on March 28! It’s a highlight for our little ones, and we can’t wait to celebrate with them.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our preschool community. Let’s make this a fantastic year for our students!
Sincerely,

Atentamente,

Respect And Love!
In Ms. Chelsea's class, we celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by learning about his important work and the impact he had on our world. We started by reading the book Colors of Us, which helped us understand how we all look different on the outside, but we share love and kindness on the inside. After reading, we talked about Dr. King’s accomplishments, discussing how he helped make the world a fairer and kinder place for everyone. Then, we were able to get creative by designing an outfit on a paper doll of ourselves, celebrating our unique differences. Through this fun activity, we will remember how Dr. King's dream encourages us to treat others with respect and love, no matter how we look.
