Good Evening CTHS Families
As we continue this season of gratitude, we want to express our appreciation to all the Veterans and their families in our school community and beyond. We are incredibly grateful for the freedom and opportunities that you have provided for us.
We are grateful to the families participating in parent-teacher conferences this past week. Don't forget that our staff can be reached through email. Please be sure to include your name and your student's name in the correspondence. On Tuesday, our staff had the opportunity to tour CTE labs and learn about opportunities within different pathways. Our CTE teachers' talent, experience, and knowledge are unparalleled.
Remember that our next Pathway Day is coming up on December 5th during the 7th period. All students, 9-12, regardless of their class schedule, are expected to attend their pathway meeting.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to Mat Su Career and Technical High School.

Northrim Pancake Breakfast
A huge "Thank You" to the Northrim Bank team that came out bright and early Friday morning and prepared hundreds of pancakes to greet our students as they entered the doors!
STEM Challenge Club
This group of outstanding students are at it again this year!! We are looking for local businesses in the community who are interested in sponsoring this group of students. Your paid sponsorship will earn your business logo an advertising place on our club t-shirt.
Last year they won at the NASA Tech Rise Challenge and this year they are planning to score high enough to go fly their rocket competeing in nationals. The American Rocketry Challenge is the worlds largest student rocketry competion where students will gain invaluable hands-on engineering experioences. Our challenge is to design, build, test, and launch a rocket that will soar to the height of 790 feet carrying 2 eggs, and safely land with out any damage to the eggs. Achieving national champion status in rocketry is no small feat, so we need your help to make it happen. Your financial or material donation will help us gain critical momentum.
If you are interested in supporting our team with a T-shirt sponsorship, we are asking for $500 for sleeve locations, or $250 for your business logo to be printed on the back. To purchase a sponsorship or if you would like to support in another way, please contact our sponsor teacher Mrs. Limbocker, at victoria.limbocker@matsuk12.us or call Career Tech at 907-352-0400. We hope you will join us on this exciting journey and help us lift off!
