New Year, New Music!
Happy New Year! I'm excited to get into my favorite season of choir. We can take time to focus more on technique and adding new warm-ups, as well as work on our spring concert music! This year we will be performing songs from High School Musical. They're a lot of fun and will include learning some two-part harmony, multiple solo opportunities, and of course choreography!
Our spring concert is on May 16th at 6:00pm. Many more details to come, but want that date reserved on your calendar. You won't want to miss it!
Concert Apparel Site is Open!
For those of you who didn't get a chance to order a choir shirt, the store is open through January 19th. Students need a choir t-shirt for their performance. If you can't afford one, please reach out and we'll make sure we get one for your child!
When ordering, click the pick-up option. I will pick them up when they're ready. Please put your child's name on the order form.

Absences
There have been some questions about missed practices and their effect on choir eligibility. The rule is that if students have missed three practices within a performance period, they are not eligible to sing in the concert as they wouldn't have sufficient practice time. Absences start over after each performance.
***For our spring concert, students can miss five practices since we have a longer rehearsal window before the concert.
