OUES Kindergarten Gifted and Talented Referrals
Referrals for the Carroll ISD Gifted and Talented (GT) Program are opening for Kindergarten students. The referral form will be available from December 2nd at 8:00 a.m. until December 17th at 3:00 pm. Please note that no exceptions can be made to the deadline.

Chinese Calligraphy and Dumpling Making Party!
Join us on January 24th after school for a unique event that blends culture, creativity, and cuisine! Inspired by the movie Mulan and the heartwarming Disney short, Bao- OUES mom, June Matlock will teach participants the art of Chinese calligraphy and the delicate skill of making delicious dumplings. This hands-on experience offers a wonderful opportunity to explore traditional Chinese culture in a fun and interactive setting. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit our campus! Holiday Hunger Project Food Drive - December 15
Join us on December 15th, from 1–3 PM at CSHS for the Holiday Hunger Project, a community-wide initiative in partnership with Altrusa and the CISD Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) to make the holidays brighter for those in need. The event will feature a Red Bag Drive, Tom Thumb Donation Boxes, and CISD Gift Baskets, benefiting 6 food banks in Tarrant County and CISD cafeteria, janitorial, and lawn maintenance staff.
The goal is to fill 160 Gift Baskets with $25 grocery gift cards, holiday food, and thank-you cards. As of today, we’re 35% filled and need your help to reach 100% over the coming days! Let’s come together as a community to make this holiday season special for everyone.

- Step 1: To order you must have funds on your student's lunch account & order 7 days before date of celebration. The order will not be processed without sufficient funds available. You can add money to your student's account via check, cash or My School Bucks.
- Step 2: Complete this order form.
- Step 3: School Kitchen Manager will place order on the student's lunch account.
- Step 4: School Kitchen Manager will email the parent and teacher confirmation the order has been processed.

While the above food items have currently been found to be in compliance with the Allergy Aware CISD Notice, please continue to check the food label as companies change their ingredients and manufacturing facilities. This list is intended as a guideline for parents and party planners. Other food items in compliance with the Allergy Aware Notice are also permissible. As a reminder, all classroom consumption foods, not personal snacks, must contain a label.
Any label that states the following is NOT permitted in the classroom for classroom consumption:

- “contains peanuts or tree nuts”
- “processed on shared equipment with peanuts or tree nuts”
