Shoutout to Jackson Booth, Joe Newsom, and Matt Newsom for stepping up to help Mrs. Owens!

Superintendent's Corner
First, I want to congratulate the top spellers from the Spelling Bee Competitions at Columbine, Summit, and WPMS, who have earned their spots to compete in the Regional Spelling Bee Competition! We wish them the best of luck as they represent our schools at the next level! Congratulations to Sage McKinney and Rylan Gray of WPMS, Leila Hartman and Finley Kentner of Columbine, and Ember Reynolds and Anna Chladek of Summit.
Also, Iโm excited to share a new chapter for the future of our Secondary Campus. Beginning next school year, just as the middle and high schools have joined campuses, they will become one school. This decision comes after recognizing the many ways this integration can enrich our studentsโ educational experiences.
With this unification, students will benefit from expanded learning opportunities and a smoother
transition between grade levels. For example, teachers can now collaborate and teach across
grades, allowing for a more cohesive and comprehensive curriculum. A shared bell schedule will
also bring consistency to the school day, simplifying routines for everyone.
From an operational standpoint, combining administrative efforts will better allocate resources
and free up valuable time for educators to focus on classroom instruction. Most importantly, this
unified structure will help students stay on track with their academic goals, offering consistent
support throughout their educational journey.
Weโd love to hear from you! We will send a survey to your email through IC messenger soon
with name options to vote for, or even submit your own name ideas for the Secondary Campus.
