Hillcrest Family Newsletter

Principal Message
I hope this message finds you well! It is hard to believe we are in the 2nd quarter of the school year. Wow! Thank you to all who attended our Parent-Teacher Conferences. These conversations are invaluable as we work together to support your child’s individual needs. If you have any additional questions or concerns about your child’s progress, please don’t hesitate to reach out to their teacher.
We had a great time last week celebrating some of our student successes in Quarter 1 - we recognized our Awesome Attendance Award winners, as well as our Hillcrest Heroes. Both awards will be given each quarter. We appreciate your support with emphasizing the importance of attendance & showing our ROAR. (Respect, Ownership, Acceptance, & Responsibility)
Included in the newsletter is information about Halloween, the Harvest Party, opportunities & support for families, among other information. Thank you for taking a few minutes to read it!
We couldn’t achieve all we do without the partnership and support of our families. Thank you for your involvement, whether by attending events, volunteering, or simply supporting your child’s learning at home. Together, we’re creating a positive and vibrant school community for our students to thrive.
Take care,
Laura Rutherford
Principal, Hillcrest Elementary
