Great Moments in Hot Bev History
In 2017, Food & Wine magazine saw fit to produce a list of the top 25 hot chocolates in the US. That in itself is a worthy moment for my favorite hot bev. Unfortunately, Philly didn't score a spot on the list. But there are MANY within driving distance (see: NYC). But we've certainly got our own hot spots! I think I'll make note of these for the winter.

Mid-Semester Honors Course Check-In
So now that we're past the midpoint of the semester, it's time for you to let us know if something great or not-so-great is happening in your Honors courses.
It's up to you whether you give your contact info, but we'd LOVE to hear how good (or bad) your Honors courses are going.

CST Peer Advisors Needed!
The College of Science & Technology (CST) Center for Academic Advising and Professional Development is currently seeking applicants to join our peer advising team. The primary role of a CST Peer is to assist our CST students with academic questions and to act as a student resource for them. This position will also provide support at college events such as Open Houses, Experience Temple Days, Graduation, and Orientation Sessions. Attached is a flyer with additional information regarding job responsibilities.
This is a paid position.
A GPA of 3.0 and above is required. Mandatory paid training is anticipated to be held in the beginning of January. Completed applications are due by October 28th. The application can be located on the CST website (CST Peer Application).

They are looking for a student who is game to share insights and suggestions. You would need to be available 2-3:30 pm on Mondays (either the 3rd or 4th week of the month). The student selected would need to be available at that time. The next meeting is on Oct. 28th at 2 pm.
