Teaching Writing in the Age of AI
Join us as we read, write about and discuss the implications of AI and Large Language Models in our classrooms. Write to Learn Conference
Proposals are due Sept. 27 for the annual Write to Learn conference. The k-12 ELA conference will be held in Columbia, MO, Feb. 20-21, 2025. GKCWP teachers who are selected are eligible for additional travel stipends.

Opportunities for Students
Scholastic Writing Awards
Students in grades 7-12 can enter writing in more than 10 different categories, including flash fiction, poetry, and critical essay. The Scholastic Writing Awards regonizes the creative work of teens with scholarship opportunities; gold, silver and honorable mention awards; and local and national awards ceremonies.
The contest is open September 1 - January 6.
