What We're Learning
4th Math: Students did a fantastic job last week learning to divide two, three and four digit numbers by one digit divisors. I was really impressed with how fast they picked this up. 😄Next week we will continue to work on this but our main focus will be on area and perimeter. Please make sure your child is keeping up with weekly spiral review homework and Noetic challenges.
4th ELA: Students will continue reading the Roald Dahl novel, The Witches. They seem to really be enjoying it. Students will continue to have class time to read but some reading will need to be done at home as well. Students will have graded comprehension questions and activities for sections of the book.
5th Math: Next week we will start multiplying and dividing with fractions but our main focus will be on statistics (mean, mode, range, median) . Please make sure your child is keeping up with weekly spiral review homework and Noetic challenges.
5th ELA: Students are reading one of the Battle of the Books novels, Rain Reign together as our novel study.
