Ms. Birmingham's 6th grade students embraced their creativity by designing unique figures and calculating the area of each shape. They worked hard to find the total area of their creations, combining math with imagination for a fun and engaging learning experience!

MTSD hosted the third annual TechFest, orchestrated by Ms. Baker, on April 8th. Students showcased projects like ScribbleBots, MeeperBots, Ozobots, shared coding basics, and led tours of a dissected PC. 5th & 6th graders connected their Microbit skills to Finch robots provided by Warren Hills High School. The event also celebrated our Mansfield YearGame winners.

TechFest is also the time when we recognize our YearGame winners, and we congratulate these mathletes of Mansfield:

We are thrilled to announce the first-ever Best Buddies Color Run on Saturday, May 10th—right before Community Day! This fun and inclusive event is open to all, with a course designed for every fitness level—whether you want to walk, jog, or run.

Check-in begins at 8:45 AM in front of the Warren Hills Middle School and runs until 9:15 AM. The event kicks off at 9:30 AM and will finish at the Warren Hills High School just in time for Community Day!

Be sure to wear white to get the best results from the color powder (shirts will not be provided). Complimentary sunglasses will be available for those who pre-register online; bring your own protective eyewear if registering the day of the event.
