Freshman Walk Recap
Last Friday, May 17th, freshmen took part in their annual charity walk raising funds for the Service Dog Project. As a community, the Freshman class raised over $15,500 to assist the SDP in continuing their important work of donating service dogs to individuals with mobility concerns. A huge shout out to PAC for supplying the Freshman class with pizzas and snacks for their post-walk celebration. We would also like to thank all of the following people for their support in making this day happen: Summit’s Place, Boxford & Topsfield Police Departments, Institution for Savings, Topsfield Town Library, Zumi’s, Richardson’s Ice Cream, Topsfield Bake Shop, the Merrill family, & the Sozio family. All of your donations and support would not have made this day possible!
Credit For Life Fair
We had over 100 Masco Juniors attend the Credit for Life fair sponsored by Institution for Savings at Salem State University on Thursday, May 23rd! It was a great opportunity for our students to get hands-on experience learning about the realities of being a 25 year old working professional in this day and age. Students were tasked with choosing a career, receiving a credit card and a credit score to learn and visit 12-15 booths learning about budgeting their monthly expenses on things they needed and things that they wanted. Thank you to all who supported this event and made it happen!
Québec Trip
29 French II students and 3 teacher chaperones had a great time learning about the culture of Québec past and present, sampling local cuisine and of course practicing our French.
