Summer Technology Professional Learning Opportunity
This summer (starting June 13, 2021) you can take a Technology Professional Learning Opportunity. Last summer you took technology professional learning, this summer, take that learning and the learning you did during the year and put it all together to make a plan for next year and how you are going to use the technology in the classroom with your students. You can earn up to 6 SCECH hours during the course. This learning is set up where you will work with a consultant on a scheduled time for you and the consultant.

End Of Year Google Classroom Clean Up
MACUL Grant Open Until June 14th!
Purpose: To encourage and support members interested in promoting effective instructional uses of the computer or related-equipment.
Grant Goal: Each project should focus on an instructional use of the computer or related equipment, which has the potential of being replicated in other educational settings.
Grant Limit per Application: $1,000
Eligible Applicants: MACUL members who are classroom teachers, coordinators, administrators, or higher education personnel. MACUL grant recipients from the last two years are ineligible to apply.

How can I support you or your district:
Consulting and Resources- Provide an opportunity for a brainstorming session to bounce ideas off of one another. Hunt for resources and activities to match the needs of your school or classroom.
Team Teaching Experience-After planning cooperatively, teach a lesson together involving an innovative idea, technology, STEAM, or makerspace.
Co-planning-Collaboratively plan a lesson or series of lessons that use technology, innovative idea, STEAM or makerspaces, and meets best practice.
Demonstration Lesson-Demonstrate a makerspace or STEAM activity, or a piece of technology in your classroom while you observe.
Classroom Engagement and Customization Support-Help design and implement engagement activities and design technology choice assignments or tiered activities.
New Teacher Support- Assist new teachers in topics such as classroom management, classroom engagement, innovative teaching ideas, understanding and handling student behaviors, how to manage stress, mentor/mentee relationships, curriculum expectations, and network support.
