Marching towards the Spring

Dear Northwood Middle School Families,

As we move into March, we’re excited to celebrate the progress our students are making. With the end of the third quarter quickly approaching, please remember to regularly check PowerSchool to stay updated on your child’s grades and progress.

Six amazing mathematicians from Mrs. Manion's and Mr. Popowski's 5th grade classes attended the Greater Cleveland Council of Teachers of Mathematics (GCCTM) tournament this past Saturday morning and won trophies and blue ribbons. Teams of four required that a 4th grade alternate joined each group of three 5th graders — quite a feat! Congratulations to all these math students for working so hard to prepare, and for their cooperation, teamwork, and leadership during the event!

In line with our PBIS matrix, which emphasizes Respect, Responsibility, and Readiness to Learn, we encourage you to talk with your children about the positive behaviors that contribute to our school community. Your engagement and support play a crucial role in reinforcing these values at home.

Lastly, thank you to all our parents for adhering to the proper dismissal protocols. Your cooperation in picking up your children efficiently has helped us process vehicles faster and maintain a safe environment.

Tickets will go on sale 3/10 before and after school. We will again only be able to sell 200 tickets and once sold out we will be unable to accommodate any additional ticket sales. Tickets are $5. The 200 student limit is a space capacity. Buy tickets soon to guarantee a spot.
