Hello from our new superintendent:

Hi everyone, this is Adam Johnson and I am honored to be the new superintendent at New York Mills School. I feel truly grateful for this opportunity and I want to thank everyone that has been so welcoming to my family and I. We recently moved to the area and we are looking forward to being involved in the New York Mills community. I look forward to helping New York Mills continue its strong traditions in academics, athletics, and fine arts!

I will be at community events throughout the summer and am looking forward to meeting more people. Come introduce yourself to me if you see me around town, or stop by the school to say hello. Thanks to everyone that has stopped in already! I especially appreciate the welcome basket from the Parent's Nest and area businesses (pictured below). Thank you!!

Event Information

May 28-August 15: Summer Food Service

Summer Food Service started on May 28th and will go through August 15th. There will be no service on June 19th and July 4th. Meals will be available Monday through Thursday. Breakfast will run 7:30 until 9 and Lunch will be 11-1. The meals are free for people under 18.

July 1: New Superintendent Start Date

Adam Johnson started as the New York Mills Superintendent on July 1. Stop by to say hello.

Saturday, July 13: Parent Nest Fun Run

Join the 2nd Annual Fun Run and support the Parent's Nest!

July 22-August 8: Summer Eagle Academy

NY Mills Elementary Students in grades K-6 (from last school year) are invited to join us for Summer Eagle Academy. The program runs from 8 a.m.-12 p.m., Monday-Thursday, July 22-August 8. Eagle Academy is free of charge, and includes breakfast, lunch, field trips, and hands-on educational activities. Transportation is provided for field trips only.
