Hello and Welcome Back to Everyone....

Hello West Side Families, I know this first week has been hectic. With many changes taking place at West Side this year our first week was very busy. We appreciate so many families joining us for the ice cream social. It surely was a lovely night seeing everyone.

The students are excited to be back in school as they see old friends, and make new friends each day. This week I am making my way into each classroom welcoming all the students back for another school year. We hope you all have a fantastic school year. Mr. Donlon, CWS Principal

Safety Items ~ Are you a Car Rider?

With the many car riders this year we have a lot of traffic in and out of West Side. We PLEASE ask that when exiting in the morning or afternoon, that you TURN RIGHT so that traffic continues to flow. Thank you!! We want everyone to be Safe!

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that each of our classrooms is getting renovated this year? The first group of 9 classrooms is complete; look at the new student furniture below. Each student has a new desk that can move up and down, chairs with rollers, flexible and VERY comfortable. The classrooms have new seating for small groups, new heating and air conditioning systems, and upgrades in technology!

IMPORTANT TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

The Concord Transportation Department recently adopted a new parent transportation portal called 3D EZROUTING. Through this program, parents can download a mobile app called “BusQuest” that will keep families updated about routes, bus numbers, stop locations, scheduled stop times and more!

Registration is required for families of bus riders. To complete the registration process online, please CLICK HERE. If you would like assistance to complete this process, transportation staff will be set up in a mobile unit outside of the new Concord Transportation Center from 1:00-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 13.

As we work to update routes, it is important that we have bus riders enrolled as soon as possible.

It is also important that your current contact information is on file with your child’s school. To update your contact information, including your email address and phone number, please CLICK HERE. This registration is for transportation only -- not to make changes to your child's Powerschool account or to register a new student.
