Principal Message
Happy Mother's Day to all of you who raise and support kids. I truly hope that you have had a wonderful day.
On Friday night there were Northern Lights across the state of Vermont (and around the country). This is something that I have always wanted to see and have never had the weather cooperate. It was amazing. It reminded me to take time to appreciate the things we have in front of us. I am looking forward to all the things we have left in the last month of school. I hope to see many of you out and about at all the different activities.
In case you missed the notice last week, the 14th of June is the last student day. It will be a 1/2 day and students will be dismissed at 11:30. We have just over a month left of school and so many experiences left during that time. The final student planned event is the Social Justice Fest on May 24th. This month has been full of student planned events and I have enjoyed all the hard work and enjoyment that I have seen. Ag day was a blast!
Parking at the high school, especially during games and events, has caused a few issues. Please make sure that you are parking in official spots and saving handicap spots for those with handicap permits and licenses. You may use both parking lots on either side of the school to park in during game times.
Thank you so much to everyone who donated time, items, or money to support the Teacher and Staff appreciation week. It was very much appreciated. On Monday the staff was treated to a wonderful breakfast put on by the CPTG, on Tuesday all staff received a new lanyard, on Wednesday they were treated to Breakfast put on by the School Board, on Thursday they received chocolate from the Central Office, on Friday they had a candy bar put on by the CPTG and a notepad and pen from the school administration. We are so appreciative of all that our staff do for our communities students.
Some events that are coming up in the next few weeks are:
- May 14th: Varsity Baseball @ Middlebury 4:30
- May 14th: Varsity and JV Girls Lacrosse @ Harwood 4:30/6:00
