Cardinal Connect
Week of November 18 - 22
Principal's Message
Dear Cardinals,
We here at SAB hope you had a fantastic November break. It was a full week, with Parent-Teacher Interviews, the grade 9 P.A.R.T.Y Program, the ELAA Post Secondary Fair, as well as our Remembrance Day Ceremony!
A reminder to all students to be sure to stop by the chapel this month to write the names of loved ones who you would like prayed for during our staff prayer. You can also place a candle in remembrance as well. These small, prayerful acts are a way to live out the call of All Souls Day, which occurred earlier this month.
Monthly Virtue and Sacred Teaching: Courage
Catholic Social Teaching: The Principle of Solidarity
We continue to pray:
Lord,
Teach me what it means to have courage as a virtue.
May I be bold enough to have the fortitude to uphold the truth,
and most importantly to stand for You.
Lord, as you teach me courage,
also teach me what solidarity means.
Help me to stand with those in need,
especially those who are vulnerable, oppressed, or left out.
Amen+
Blessings,
Mr. Scott Walker
Principal
