Message from Mr. Eiswert
Greetings Sparrows Point Middle School families. Hopefully this rain is moving away and we can all dry out. We have just finished our 4th full week of school and teachers completed interim grades for the 1st quarter. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have questions or concerns regarding interim grades. The 1st quarter ends on October 31st (half day) so please do not wait to communicate. We are also working on a conference night in the near future-more on this later. SPMS sports has begun as well. Please come out and support our teams as they compete against other BCPS schools. Thank you to all SPMS staff for supporting our student athletes. Check out some schedule changes below.
As we move further into the school year, please remind your child of the importance of getting to class on time and following our PRIDE code of conduct. We have had a great year so far, but we want to remain vigilant when it comes to academic and behavioral expectations. Thank you for assisting in the "off and way" cell phone policy. It has been a great success and is becoming the norm at SPMS.
Reminder- school is closed for students on Thursday October 3rd.
Congratulations to Ms. Moreland on her nuptials this weekend! SPMS wishes her the best!
Have a great weekend Point!
