Vine Shine Report #14

• School Committee Meeting - Wednesday, January 8 at 7:00 pm in the BHS library
• PTO Meeting - Wednesday, January 8 at 6:00 pm
• 3rd Grade Winter Concert - Wednesday, January 15th at 5:30 pm in the Vine Street School gym

Cold and flu season is upon us with a vengeance! Our policy is if your child goes home with a fever or has thrown up, they cannot return to school for 24 hours and/or 24 hours after the last dose of medicine.

Students are welcome to attend if they have a cold but do not have a fever or have not vomited.

$701 was raised from the Moe's BBQ fundraiser! That money will be used to support the Book Vending Machine! Students earn punches on a punch card for being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe EVERYDAY for a week (earn one punch), then they are able to earn a second punch for attending school EVERYDAY that week bell to bell (no tardies or dismissals). Once the get all of their punches they earn a token to choose a book from the book vending machine!

I just want to take a moment to thank you all for your many contributions, including making sure your child arrive at school on time & ready to learn, calling when they will be late or absent, and your continued support with your child's education!
