DISTRICT NEWS
STUDENT CELL PHONE USE POLICY
This year, the School Board will engage the school district community to help inform the creation of a student cell phone use policy. A cell phone advisory group of students, parents and teachers is working collaboratively with administration to develop recommendations for cell phone use by educational level (elementary school, middle school, high school).
These recommendations will be provided to the School Board which will develop a cell phone policy in compliance with new legislation. A survey for parents, secondary students and staff will be shared in the coming weeks, and community engagement sessions will be hosted as well. Learn more at mvpschools.org/cellphones.
