Welcome our new nurse to CMES!
Hello CMES staff,
I am Julie Bellah, and am happy to inform you that I will be the RN for Carrie Martin Elementary starting after the Thanksgiving Break. We will all definitely miss Aimey, who is starting her new career path as a nurse practitioner. I am very familiar with her hard work to attain her NP status, and admire her accomplishments.
I have been working as a nurse throughout my working career, where I spent many years in emergency medicine, followed by a year working exclusively in pediatrics for the past 20 years. After moving from Texas to Colorado to join family here, I started with Thompson School District during the 23-24 school year, and am truly loving my role here. Not to mention, I have a world of respect for the committed staff I have met!
All I know is, I have always had a passion for working with children, and look forward to how I can help your school stay safe and healthy! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns, and I look forward to knowing you!
Sincerely,
Julie Bellah, RN

2025 MLK Celebration Art, Music, and Writing Contest
We’re excited to announce the 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration! This year’s theme, “A More Excellent Way, of Love,” honors Dr. King’s belief in justice, unity, and kindness. We invite Pre-K to 12th-grade students to participate in our art, writing, and (new) music contest, expressing their vision for a world filled with fairness and compassion.
Submit your entries by December 11, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. Winners will be recognized at the Loveland MLK Community Celebration on January 16, 2025, where their work will be featured. For any questions, please contact Andrew Dutch (andrew.dutch@tsd.org). Let’s honor Dr. King’s legacy together through creativity!
