The following are now available.
Unless otherwise noted you can obtain applications and information from Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, room 2112.
Pay close attention to how the scholarships are paid if you should be the recipient. This information will be at the end of each Scholarship listed if I have it.
Village Garden Club of Dennis Scholarship
Criteria: For graduating Seniors who are Cape Cod Residents. You must plan to major in college in the field of: horticulture, biology, botany forestry, environmental science, agronomy, marine biology, city planning, biotechnology, land management, landscape design, greens keeping, or another related field.
How to Apply: Please see Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, Room 2112 for instructions on how to apply.
Amount of Award: One award in the amount $2,000 each will be awarded.
Deadline: March 31, 2025
Scholarship will be paid directly to the student upon successful completion of one semester.
Village Garden Club of Dennis Toolship
Criteria: For graduating Seniors who are Cape Cod Residents not planning on attending college, who will be entering the workplace or starting a new business in landscaping, horticulture, environmental protection or related fields.
How to Apply: Please see Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, Room 2112 for instructions on how to apply.
Amount of Award: One Toolship in the amount $500 will be awarded.
Deadline: March 31, 2025
Toolship award will be paid to the recipient upon receipt of reimbursable expenses.
The Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center Scholarship
Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors who are a child of a veteran, or a dependent of a veteran, and who will be attending college in the fall of 2025.These scholarships are awarded in memory of Eric Jones, Nicholas Xiarhos, Roy Pacheco, Michael Trainor, and Greg Morrison.
How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, room 2112.
Amount of Award: Four scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded.
Deadline: Applications must be postmarked no later than April 7, 2025
Community Connections – Edward and Lorraine O’Neill Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Applicants should be Barnstable County residents who are pursuing a career as a teacher, therapist or a related field focusing on helping children or adults who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. This can be for a graduating high school senior or current college student.
How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, room 2112.
Amount of Award: Number and amount of Scholarship varies.
Deadline: April 5, 2025
Scholarship will be paid directly to student upon proof of enrollment to college or institution.
Charitable and Educational Trust of the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America Scholarship Program
Criteria: For graduating seniors pursuing further education in a four-year degree granting institution. It important to note that while some of these scholarships are reserved for the children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews of our members, there are several scholarships available regardless of affiliation with the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America and as such, we encourage all qualifying graduating students to apply.

Amount of Award: A Maximum of 20 $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.
Deadline: Must be postmarked no later than January 31, 2025.
Master Gardener Association of Cape Cod Scholarship
Criteria: Applicants must be graduating high school seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, who will be pursuing a degree in the field of agriculture, horticulture or a related, natural resource field and the funds must be applied to the payment of tuition or room and board. Applicants must be a resident of Barnstable County.

Amount of Award: Four $2,500 scholarships will be awarded.
Deadline: April 30, 2025
Scholarship will be paid directly to the recipient upon receipt of the first tuition bill and proof of performance of 3.0 or higher after one semester.
Aero Club of New England Scholarship
Criteria: For graduating seniors who will be pursuing a career in any of the following; Primary Pilot Training, Instrument Pilot Training, Advanced Pilot Training, Aviation Maintenance Technology, or Aviation Management.

Amount of Award: 22 Scholarships totaling $57,000 will be awarded.
Deadline: March 31, 2025
Red Pine Scholarship
Criteria: For students who come from low to middle income families in Massachusetts who have demonstrated academic excellence and are planning to attend competitive colleges as freshmen in the fall of 2025.

Amount of Award: A four-year scholarship of up to $20,000 annually will be awarded.
Deadline: Must be submitted online by February 15, 2025
