Thank you PTA
Thank you to our amazing PTA for providing conference meals! Our teachers always appreciate dinner being quickly ready during a break at conferences. Our PTA goes above and beyond for North Polk Schools.
Counselors Corner
All juniors will take the practice ACT during the school day on either December 4th or December 11th. Counselors will send out more detailed information at the end of November.
AP order forms are due November 14th by 3p. If your student is taking an AP class and plans to take the AP exam, they need to complete the order form by November 14th at 3p. Each AP exam costs $99 and will be billed to a student's Infinite Campus account.
Attendance Reminders
Do you need to let us know your student...
Will be gone today?
Needs to leave early for an appointment?
Will be arriving late?
Has an upcoming absence?
Please email highschoolattendance@northpolk.org OR call 515-984-3400, Option1, attendance line for all attendance related issues.
Thank you!
A student who becomes ill or injured at school must notify a teacher or other staff member and then visit the school nurse as soon as possible. Students should not contact parents on their own. In the case of serious illness or injury, the school nurse will attempt to notify the parents/guardians according to the information on Infinite Campus. If the student is too ill or injured to remain in school, the student will be released to a parent/guardian.
A Note From The Nurse
Now that the school year is in full swing we are coming up against a few needs.
If you have the ability to help out we could use some donations of t-shirts, pants, socks & sweatshirts.
Please bring your donations to the office labeled NURSE.
This is greatly appreciated.
