CG Family,

Welcome to the 24-25 School Year! We are very excited for you all to join us for a new year in our newly renovated building! We cannot wait for the halls to fill with laughter and smiles. The joy of educators comes from seeing your students each and every day grow and learn how to become young adults.

There is power in the family/school partnership as we both seek to impact young lives in a positive manner and help them reach their utmost potential for success. Studies consistently show that with involved families, students achieve at a higher level, have better attitudes toward learning and have a strong skill set socially and emotionally.

There are many ways to be involved as a parent: establish home environments that support learning, communicate with your student about their school day, volunteer through PTO, include them in decision-making that involves their success, and hold them accountable for their choices, actions, and responsibility in order for them to face adversity and learn life lessons.

More information will be sent next week about August 8 Schedule Pick-Up (once we have more direction about the ongoing construction in our building).

Here are the school supplies list and the drop off information on August 8. Anything not listed on the drop off information will be brought to school and either kept in the backpack or given to specific teachers throughout the day.

Reminder: Students need to have a pair of tennis shoes for PE in order to participate safely.

Dear CSISD Parents and Guardians,

It’s time to register your student(s) for bus transportation for the 2024-2025 school year! If your student needs bus transportation to and/or from school, please complete the Transportation Registration form at the link below by Aug. 1. Please note that in order to submit this form, you will need to know your student's CSISD Student ID Number and you will need to upload a recent yearbook-style photo of your student. If you have already registered your student(s) for transportation for the 2024-2025 school year, you do not need to fill out the form again.

CSISD Transportation Registration

CSISD will be using a new parent app, Stopfinder, for the upcoming school year. Stopfinder is the easy-to-use, all-in-one app that allows you to have the most accurate information about your student’s bus schedule at any time from anywhere.

In order to use Stopfinder, you must register your student(s) for bus transportation. The email address you provide when registering your student(s) for bus transportation will be used for Stopfinder setup.

Stopfinder can be downloaded for free from the App Store or Google Play. Stopfinder will require an invite and registration through the district prior to accessing your student’s transportation schedule. Invitations to access your student’s transportation schedule will be sent out beginning Aug. 1. Please watch for a Stopfinder invitation, which will be emailed to your primary email address.

A joy we have every year is giving every one of our staff and students a CG t-shirt for FREE. We are still in need of t-shirt sponsors in order to be able to do this for our school.

We would appreciate your help! If you can help, here are the details:

Your business logo will appear on all student & staff shirts (approx. 600) as well as appear on our marquee and our school newsletter.

The cost to be a Cypress Grove t-shirt sponsor is $425.

You will be asked by staff to leave an area that is not designated as a safe area for drop off or pick up and move to the designated areas if you are not following our safety plan.

Please make sure immunization records or conscientious exemption forms are up to date and a copy is given to the nurse.

Students with diabetes, anaphylaxis, asthma, and seizures will need to have parent questionnaires completed and action plans filled out by their doctors to turn into the nurse. Rescue medications and/or necessary supplies need to be included as well.

Also, those needing to keep medication in the nurse's office will need to fill out the Medication Authorization form & the parent must deliver the medication in the original prescription container to the nurse with the pharmacy label and physician instructions clearly printed on it.
