Board of Education News & Notes

The Flemington-Raritan Regional Board of Education held a regular meeting on October 10, 2024. Below is a recap of the meeting:

• All motions were approved: Agenda and Addendum.
• The Board appointed new member Warren Buckleitner to fill a vacant seat representing Flemington Borough through December 31, 2025.
• All new employees were formally introduced to the Board and recognized at the meeting (photo below).
• HIB Coordinator Vanessa Ahmed presented the 2023-2024 School Self-Assessment for Determining Grades under the Anti Bullying Bill of Rights Act, linked here.
• Assistant Superintendent Dr. Clifford Burns presented the 2023-2024 Reporting Period 2 Public Hearing on Incidents of Violence, Vandalism, Weapons, Substance Use and Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying (HIB), linked here (starting on slide 13) .
