Dear Families,


You should be almost finished reading Almost Super and we really hope you've enjoyed it. We will celebrate with a culminating event next Thursday, February 13th from 5:00-6:30. Join us for activities, games, crafts and to see your child's superhero project. We will even have Power Up Popcorn with Super Power Candy and Kryptonite Cups (Green Jell-O) as a snack. Check out this week's trivia winners below.


Reminder: There is NO School February 14th or 17th.

Please note, our last day of school has been moved to Thursday, May 22nd. Students will dismiss at 3:30 pm. Our staff members will be busy packing up their rooms on Friday, May 23rd as we move out for summer construction.

ZONES OF REGULATION

The zone we focused on this week was the blue zone. The BLUE ZONE describes low states of alertness and down feelings, such as when a person feels sad, tired, sick, hurt, lonely, or bored. Our energy is low and our body is moving slowly when we are in the Blue Zone. Next week, we will look at the yellow zone!

Thank you to Mr. Mason, father of Alora who volunteered as our Watch D.O.G.S. this week. He spent his time in classrooms, PE, music class, eating lunch with his student and recess. We appreciate you coming in and volunteering.

KINDERGARTEN AND NEW STUDENT ONLINE REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

If you have an incoming kindergartener or new student entering Millard Public Schools for the 2025-26 school year, please enroll your student beginning February 1, 2025 at www.mpsomaha.org. By completing your child's enrollment as soon as possible you help us place students sooner and communicate with your family in a timely way.


Please note, the new student enrollment window is for NEW STUDENTS ONLY!


Existing student updates will occur between June 9 and July 31, 2025.
