Parent/Teacher Conferences
Spring Conferences will be on Thursday, February 27th from 3:30-7:30pm
These 10 minute conferences are assumed to be in person, however virtual or phone conferences are available upon request. If conference times have been filled for the evening or the conference date or times do not work for your schedule, please contact your child’s teacher to determine an alternate conference date/time. Key teachers and Interventionists have individual conference sign ups on Skyward as well.
Conference Scheduling Directions:
Login to Skyward Family Access
Click on the “Conferences” tab on the left hand side of the page
There will be 2 links to the right of your child’s name…
“View Scheduled Times” - this will list any scheduled conference dates/times you have set
“All Conferences” - this will allow you to sign up for conferences
Click on “All Conferences” and find the class that states your child’s house. Only one designated house teacher name will appear, but all house teachers will be attending the conference.
To schedule a conference time, click on the “Select a Time'' link, beneath the Status heading. A pop-up window will display available conference times. Select a time that you would like to meet with your child’s teachers.
Parent help for conferences
The PTO is providing dinner for teachers on the night of conferences. We are asking families if they are willing to help supplement the dinner with snacks, dessert and beverages. If you are able to help, please sign up on the Sign up Genius. Thanks in advance!

Football Intramurals
The goal of the Silverbrook Intramural Football program is to allow students to further their football skills in a fun and competitively balanced environment. The program is four weeks long, two sessions per week, for an hour after school. Early in the program, students will focus on developing and advancing their skills in throwing, catching, and route running. As the program progresses, students will be split by ability level and continue more appropriate development. The last few sessions will provide the students a chance to use their skills in competitively balanced competitions.
To participate, students must: have a completed Clubs and Activities Community Contract, pay the $5 per sport activity fee, and have a completed sign-up form. *****Due to space constraints, this program will be limited to the first 30 students that meet these requirements.*****
Intramural football will start on Tuesday, February 18th and run through Tuesday, March 18th. (No session on Thursday, February 27th due to Parent/Teacher Conferences) The program will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:10-4:10.
MSO Rescheduled

FREAKY FRIDAYS IN FEBRUARY!
Dancing with the Stars
The East Dance Team is hosting its annual ‘Dancing With Our Stars’ event on Friday, February 21st, at 6:30 PM in the High School’s Silver Lining Performing Arts Center. This unique event pairs each East dancer with a West Bend ‘star’ for a lighthearted and entertaining dance performance. It’s all about celebrating the joy of dance and sharing our passion with the community!
We are excited to share that there is one star tied to Silverbrook—Ms. Knox! We’d love to see a strong show of support from Silverbrook personnel in the audience, cheering on Ms. Knox!
The show starts at 6:30 PM, and the gallery doors will open at 5:30 PM. There will be a variety of raffle baskets you can peruse, a 50/50 raffle to participate in, and concessions and flowers for sale. The doors to the auditorium will open at 6:00 PM. Ticket prices are as follows: $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, $5 for children ages 2-5, and free for children under 2. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or ahead of time at this link: https://gofan.co/event/2736996?schoolId=WI13638
Dancing With Our Stars acts as the team’s largest fundraiser. We will use the raised funds to purchase new costumes, poms, and competitions throughout the season.
Alongside our “star” performances, there will be performances from the East Varsity Dance Team, West Bend Dance Teams, and West Bend Winter Guard Teams. The team and their stars have been practicing hard, and are excited to showcase their dance skills for a chance to win the Mirrorball Trophy! We hope you can join us in this fun and entertaining celebration of dance! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at kmadden@wbsd-schools.org & mzancanaro@wbsd-schools.org.
