PRINCIPAL PENOYER'S WEEKLY MESSAGE
Ahoy, Patriot Families!
Check out the PTO Updates link above
Join us tonight from 5pm-7pm for Camp-Read-Alot Library Night, a fun-filled evening of storytelling, camping themed activities and exciting games. There will be live owls, s’more trail mix, book raffles and "gently used" book sales. Hope to see you there!
STUCO will be running a Turkey Trot during lunch recesses on Tuesday, November 26th. Students will complete laps to earn tickets for a raffle drawing for holiday pies!
Penguin Patch Holiday Shop is coming to Liberty! This is a shopping experience for students to purchase inexpensive gifts for their families. There will be class viewing days and class buying days. Please be on the lookout for a flyer. (I still have a few gifts from my 22 and 23 year old daughters from when their elementary school did it!) We need volunteers! Sign up here! It's so much fun to watch the students pick out their special gifts!
I will not be sending home the Loop next week. Wishing all of you and your families a happy, healthy and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday!
**The PVSchools Fall 2024 Library Title List will be available for review for 60 days starting October 11 - December 9, 2024. Please see the following website to see titles that are being considered by Paradise Valley school libraries and provide feedback. Sail on and enjoy your day!

LICE INFO FROM NURSE SOPHIA
**Our district has recently changed its policy allowing for lice letters to be sent to classes that have 2 or more cases of active lice. ** Cases of lice have been more frequent than usual, especially in the primary grades. If your child has had any recent sleepovers or playdates, it would be a good idea to check their hair for any signs of an infestation. Please remind your students to avoid sharing personal items (hats, hair brushes, headphones, etc.) and to maintain space between themselves and their friends. If you find nits (eggs) or bugs in your child's hair, please be sure to check in with Nurse Sophia for guidance. Here is additional lice education.
