Upcoming Opportunities
Columbus Suburban College Fair
On Sunday, October 13, Otterbein University will be hosting the Columbus Suburban College Fair from 1-3:30 PM. See their flier for more details including registration and a list of college fair participants!
Pre-Apprenticeship Information Night
On October 14th at 6pm in the WKHS auditorium, Worthington school counselors will be hosting representatives from Worthington Steel, Worthington Enterprises, Simpson Strong Tie, and Performance Columbus to share with our Junior and Senior students and their families about the Pre-Apprenticeship opportunities they offer to our Seniors.
Performance Columbus is a year-long program that begins in September, while Worthington Steel, Worthington Enterprises, and Simpson Strong Tie are second semester programs that begin after winter break. Most of these are paid opportunities, and each will ideally lead to a job right out of high school.
Please join us to learn more and to find out if this would be a good fit for your current or future Senior! Please RSVP for this event, and direct any questions to Celeste Preisse at cpreisse@wscloud.org.
