We met our target growth goal!
One year of growth, according to STAR, means a student has improved at the same rate as most other students in their grade level across the country.
If a student's growth falls between the 35th and 65th percentiles (meaning they're in the middle range of growth), they are said to have made "one year's growth."
In ELA/Reading 65% of students met or exceeded 1-years growth
In Math 62% of students met or exceeded 1-years growth
Reclassified Fluent English Proficiency for 2023-24
Great strides for our EL Students in 2023-24
We had a total of 280 English Language Learners in 2023-24. We are thrilled to show that 25% of those students (71) were reclassified as English proficient last year.
Our English Language Development program has a strong focus on our LTEL and AR-LTEL students this year to to help them increase their proficiency to become reclassified this spring!
