This week we celebrated our amazing teachers for Teacher Appreciation week! I wanted to extend a huge thank you our extremely generous PTO. They kindly provided treats for our faculty and staff every day this week. Thank you teachers and PTO for all that you do!
It was wonderful to meet so many new UPK students and families at our UPK screening days this week. We are looking forward to seeing all of your smiling faces here in September!
- May 15/16: Kindergarten Screening (appointment only). If your child turns 5 on or before December 1 2024, they qualify for kindergarten! Please note there will be NO SCHOOL for PreK students only on these days.
- No School: May 24-May 28 in honor of Memorial Day
- June 4th: First grade field trip to Moreau Lake State Park
- June 5th: Second grade field trip to the Jungle Experience Zoo
- June 11: MJT Field Day
- June 14: Flag Day celebration
- June 17: MJT Field Day rain date
- June 24: PreK Graduation at 9:30 in the gym
- June 25: Kindergarten Parade at 9:30 AND the last day of school.
As we begin to wrap up our school year, teachers will be working diligently to make class lists for next year. Class assignments will be mailed out mid August. Requests for specific teachers cannot be a guarantee. If you have a significant concern regarding a placement for your child for next year, please notify me in writing by Monday May 20. Please note that this day has been moved up from the original date.
