Principal's Message
Happy Friday Cougar Families!
I hope all of our Cougars enjoyed an extended weekend and came back refreshed ready to start a quarter 2. A new quarter represents a new beginning and an opportunity to reflect on our progress and set new goals.
Strong attendance is the lifeblood to a successful school. It indicates a safe and welcoming environment, maximizes achievement, and ensures we receive the resources necessary to appropriately serve our community. We would like to thank the 314 students who achieved perfect attendance through Quarter 1. These students have been notified and we thanked them today with a Crumbl Cookie during Nutrition Break.
Perfect attendance monitoring refreshes at the quarter just like grades do so everyone has an opportunity to be rewarded for perfect attendance at the end of quarter 2. Students with no tardies, no all-day absences, and responsible use of the attendance office for excused late arrivals or early departures on quarter 2 will be celebrated.
Have an awesome weekend!
Rah! Rah! Cougars!
