Ottomon's Back to School Night is this WEDNESDAY, August 28th. As this is a critical time for you to hear detailed information from your child's teacher, we ask that you do not bring students with you. We do have an Open House in the Spring, which is a WHOLE FAMILY event! Our schedule this Wednesday will be as follows:

• 6:00 - 6:20 - Title I Meeting, Principal's Welcome, Teacher Intros, PTA Information
• 6:25 - 6:55 - Session 1
• 7:00 - 7:30 - Session 2 (provided for families who have more than one child or who can't make it earlier!)

Thursday, 8/29 - Regular THURSDAY RELEASE at 12:55 PM

Friday, 8/30 - Minimum Day with release at 11:55 AM (breakfast and lunch WILL be served)

Monday, 9/2 - NO SCHOOL - Labor Day Holiday

Hi Families! Do you know that your responses on the annual school funding form means up to $120,000 for our school?

Complete the Annual Student Information Update by August 31

As we begin to prepare for the first day of school in August, San Juan Unified School District encourages families to complete the Annual Student Information Update as soon as possible.

The Annual Student Information Update asks families to update emergency contact information, complete the school funding form, get the 2024-25 family handbook and review demographic information to help schools prepare for the new school year.

Visit sanjuan.edu/parentportal to complete the Annual Student Information Update by Aug. 31. Watch a video tutorial available in multiple languages at sanjuan.edu/tutorial.

A medida que comenzamos a prepararnos para el primer día de clases en agosto, el Distrito Escolar Unificado de San Juan anima a las familias a completar la Actualización Anual de la Información del Estudiante lo antes posible.

La Actualización Anual de la Información del Estudiante pide a las familias que actualicen la información de contacto de emergencia, completen el formulario de financiamiento escolar, obtengan el manual familiar 2024-25 y revisen la información demográfica para ayudar a las escuelas a prepararse para el nuevo año escolar.

آپدیت معلومات سالانه شاگرد خود را تا تاریخ ۳۱ آگوست تکمیل نماید

همانطور که ما برای روز اول مکتب در ماه آگوست آماده می‌ شویم، حوزه تعلیمی سن هوان خانواده‌ها را تشویق می‌نماید تا هرچه زودتر، معلومات سالانه شاگرد خود را به روز رسانی و یا اپدیت کنند.

در به روز رسانی معلومات سالانه، از خانواده‌ ها خواسته می‌شود تا معلومات تماس اضطراری و فرم بودجه مکتب را آپدیت بکنند، کتاب رهنمود خانواده سال ۲۰۲۴-۲۵ را دریافت کرده، و اطلاعات دموگرافیک شاگرد خود را تجدید نمایند تا مکتب را برای آمادگی به سال تعلیمی جدید کمک نمایند

We are currently looking for the following roles to be filled:

1) Site Council - This is a volunteer position that helps our staff look at data and decide how to allocate our budget for each school year.

2) Superintendent's Parent Advisory Committee (SPAC) - This is a volunteer position that attends 3-4 meetings per year bringing the voice of Ottomon to our Superintendent, Melissa Bassinelli.

3) Rec Aide - Permanent or substitute - This is a paid position of approximately 1 hour to 1 hour, 15 minutes per day. This position supports our students through their lunch and recess periods.
