Student Achievement
Ms. Straup's 1st grade class learned about properties of light and made sun catchers which were translucent! They turned out beautiful and are on display at the Slaybaugh Primary main office windows!!
Ms. Ebert's 1st grade class enjoyed a special visitor, Mr. Chin, who came to talk and show them about Chinese New Year traditions such as red envelopes, fancy puppet-like Lion heads, and real Lion Dancers in parade. Their classmate Brady helped his dad teach us that Chinese New Year is festive, exciting and fun!
Mrs. Epifanio and Mrs. Kekatos’ class have been learning all about matter. In this activity, the students had fun designing and building a hat that protects them from the sun.

Our 2019/2020 Sweetheart dance was a blast! Thank you for all who helped make this a success!

Ms. Webster’s 1st grade class is in the lead for the Random Act of Kindness Challenge. Cleaning up before they are asked !
Mrs. Urbon & Mrs. Hamilton’s 1st grade class completed their Random Act of Kindness Challenge! They were given the task of writing a thank you card to an Active Duty Air National Guard thanking them for their service! The cards turned out great!
Community Pride
Our Coat drive was a success! Thank you to everyone that helped. Ms. Kauffman went and delivered all the goods to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission today.
The Slaybaugh Complex raised $10,682 participating in the Kids Heart Challenge for the American Heart Association.
Slaybaugh staff stayed after school to received professional development about the New Jersey Child Assault Prevention program and how to empower children to be Safe, Strong and Free.
