Q4 Week 9 [June 2 - 6th]
Student Registration for 2025-26 School Year
We are happy to know that you are continuing your education with us at Launch Virtual Academy. It takes two online processes to complete your registration at our school:
- Online process 1- Complete Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD) Online Registration for 2025-26 school year. You can find guidelines HERE.
- Online process 2- Complete Launch Virtual Academy's Learning Agreement for 2025-26 school year.
We would like to encourage you to complete the registration even if you might consider going back to in-person school for next school year.
Principal's Message
Hello Rockets!
This is Q4 Week 9! Last week of the quarter, semester, and school year!
- This quarter there is no additional time to complete your courses (Credit Completion). Teachers will submit grades for seniors on Monday and on Wednesday for the rest of the students.
- Are you registered as a student for next school year? We continue with the 2025-26 School Year Registration and 2025-26 Course Selection processes. Regardless of your plans for next school year, I would highly recommend to complete both processes to secure a spot for you in our school/district.
- Consider Summer School! I would like to invite you to sign up to join our Summer School. Summer School is a great opportunity ONLY for current Launch Virtual Academy students to finish Incomplete classes, recover credits of classes previously taken at another school where the student received an F, NCP, I or NM grades. And also, it is a great opportunity to accelerate (move forward) with credits. Parents need to complete THIS FORM for our counselors to identify the student's academic needs.
- Seniors, don’t miss a beat, check the Senior Newsletter for all the exciting events planned for you! I’m looking forward to seeing you at Cosmic Farewell, Senior Breakfast, Graduation Rehearsal, and, of course, Graduation.
- Have you and your parent completed the California Department of Education (CDE) School of Choice Survey? It is an anonymous short survey. Click HERE to complete it.
As we close out another successful school year, on behalf of all our school staff, I want to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all of our students and families for giving us the opportunity to be part of your educational journey this year. THANK YOU!
To our graduating seniors, Congratulations! We are very proud of your accomplishments and wish you all the best in your next chapter, whether it be college, career, or other exciting opportunities. I'll see you on the graduating stage on Friday, June 6th. Details HERE.
To our promoting 8th class, Congratulations! Finishing middle school is an important milestone in your educational journey. I hope see you on the promoting stage on Friday, June 6th. Details HERE.
We look forward to welcoming everyone else back for the 2025–26 school year, which begins on Wednesday, July 23. For important information about the upcoming school year, please take a moment to review our 2025–26 School Year Newsletter. Until then, have a safe and restful summer!
Be curious, be active, and engage in your education,
Dr. Ulloa - Principal
