Launch Virtual Academy
Students receiving a grade of "I" in their final Q2 report card will be able to continue working on their class(es) during winter break until Saturday, January 11th, 2025. We will have academic support daily during winter break to help you finish the incomplete class(es) -except identified official holidays.
Most teachers at Launch Virtual Academy are not working over the Winter Break, but will grade assignments completed during the break when they return starting January 13th, 2025. Please check your Canvas classroom(s) for individual directions from your teacher(s).
Days:
- Week # 1 - December 23rd, 26th & 27th (3 days)
- Week # 2 - January 2nd & 3rd (2 days)
- Week # 3 - January 6th - 10th (5 days)
Hours:
- 10am to 2pm [Teacher lunch break from 12pm - 12:30pm]

Winter Break Online Tutoring
In order to support you in completing your courses, we are offering tutoring on the following schedule:
Days:
- Week # 1 - December 23rd, 26th & 27th (3 days)
- Week # 2 - January 2nd & 3rd (2 days)
- Week # 3 - January 6th - 10th (5 days)
Times:
- First Day of School for our third quarter (Q3) is Tuesday, January 14th, 2025.
- Student Class Schedules will be available in Infinite Campus Portal on Friday, January 10th.
- Progress Report # 1 will be available to parents and students on February 7th.
- Progress Report #2 will be available to parents and students on February 28th.
- Quarter 3 Final Grades will be available to parents and students on March 21st.

The Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD) has been sending email and text information to all district students and parents about Summer School for regular in-person schools.
As every year, Launch Virtual Academy will host its own Summer School. During our third (Q3) quarter we will inform you about our internal registration process for Summer School. Please disregard SUHSD messages regarding registration for summer school.
Note. Summer School at our school is only for current students.
