YOUR VOICE MATTERS TO US!
PARENT SURVEY FOR HRS LEVEL 1: SAFE AND COLLABORATIVE SCHOOLS
PVE Families,
Pleasant View Elementary is working to become a High Reliability School while we work to build the culture and structure of this building and team. We are asking you to please give your honest feedback to help improve our practices and allow our staff to make well-informed decisions.
We know you may not have a clear understanding of certain items asked, but we want your general perception. The Neither disagree nor agree will capture those who are unsure. Again, this is just for our leadership team to gather some initial information that will help us with follow ups for families or make changes to practices. Also, this information is specific to the building and its practices, not the district.
This is 38 quick questions and may take about 3-5 minutes to complete, but we do ask for your voice. Please complete this survey by March 3 at 4:30.
Again, thank you for give up a bit of time and sharing your voice!

KINDNESS BINGO BOARD
There is still another week left to work on the Kindness Bingo! Our board is beginning to fill up and several students have already completed a black out! Students may turn in their completed boards to their teacher until Feb 26.
WRITTEN IN THE HEART (A school building activity)
Students and staff will have an opportunity to recognize others with positive notes of affirmation or recognition of random acts of kindness. These will be posted around the door frames of the classroom. As those areas fill, we will post additional hearts around the windows in the office area and gym.
Parents, if you want to get in the act, please feel free to cut out your own heart, fill it out, and send it in. We are looking forward to filling the halls of this building with love.

*The art show awards reception is tentatively set for Thursday, April 22rd. As we get closer to that date in the spring, we will determine if it will be an in-person or virtual event depending on the current Covid-19 situation.

TARDIES & NOTES FOR APPOINTMENTS
Also, if your child has an appointment during school hours, please be sure to get an appointment slip. Those slips should be summited to the office to change the attendance code and waive the absence or tardy.
We appreciate your help with these two matters. If you have further questions, please feel free to reach out to Amy Senethavilay or Judy Davis.
COVID-19 INTERACTIVE TOOL
Nurse Carrie will then uses this form each day to gather some basic information and prepare to call parents.
If you or your child has any symptoms, please keep your child home and complete the form. You may call the front office at 350-4490 to report the absence, or please feel free to email davis.judy@westada.org at any time. Nurse Carrie will then follow up with you within 24-48 hours.
