March of the Ducks

Our kindergarten students did a marvelous job with their concert Friday! They are adorable ducks and great singers. Thank you to Ms. Kutch, our amazing music director, for getting our students ready for the performance. Thank you also to all of our friends and family that were able to make the event. Attendance Matters

We miss our students when they aren't here! Please remember that your child misses valuable instruction when they are not in school. We understand that students do get sick sometimes and need to stay home but please make sure they are here every day they can make it. Attendance is a BIG part of ensuring that all of our students are excelling!

Recess & Weather Reminders

Please remember that we go outside for recess every day unless it is raining or below 12 degrees with the windchill. We are out for approximately 15-20 minutes. Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather. If you need outdoor clothing for your child, please call the office to speak with our counselor or success coach.

Also, children MUST have boots and snow pants if they wish to play in the snow.

Appropriate School Shoes

Please make sure your child is wearing school appropriate shoes each day. All shoes need to have a back to them. Students are walking around the building, participating in PE, and on the playground and we want to make sure they are safe! Slippers, slides, etc. are not to be worn at school. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Please join us either at our carnival planning session on Wednesday, January 31 @ 5:30 PM or our next regulary scheduled meeting on Monday, Feb. 12 @ 3:10. Springfield Volunteers

Interested in volunteering in the classroom, library, with special projects, or on a field trip? Please make sure you have an updated volunteer form on file. The forms are good for 3 years. You will also need to scan your license in the Springfield office prior to turning in your volunteer form.

Absences & Dismissal Plans

If your child is going to be absent, please call the office by 9:00 AM. If you do not reach someone, please leave a message.

Please remember to call by 1:30 if you have a change in dismissal plans - i.e. riding the bus instead of being picked up. After 1:30, we cannot guarantee that the student and teacher will be able to get the information.
